I just want say a huge thanks to all of you who voted for my photo! I have also really, really appreciated all the encouraging comments written here. Now I have to go lay down, my head is feeling a bit heavy at the moment:)
Congrats, Kevin. A well-deserved win!
Scott B has it right...the perils of existence.
I didn't know this was a Ferris Wheel,it looks like some kind of alien spaceship! Love it a lot.
right moment, sharp composition, captured emotion ignites the imagination, pulls you in, ...who is she, why is she there, what sparks her deep fear?
I keep coming back to this photo. It's like she's just seen the most terrifying things in her life--all the horrors she's denied--and they're about to sweep over her. But it's not just the brilliant expression, it's the metaphors: the roller coaster ride, the sunset, the imminent descent, the fur from something long dead, the tiara memory so out of place, the face on the edge. It's all there--a million stories embedded in the photograph that speak to the perils of existence.
Lighting is great!
On top of the fear protrayed in and around hers, the lighting of the scene is facinating.
Captivatures the raw emotion of fear in a most unique way!
She has beautiful eyes! Cool mix of green and gold hues throughout. Evokes and emotes emotion. Great job!
I'm scared looking at her being scared...
The expression, sunset, fur, wrap--it's brilliant! Life at its most eccentric and terrifying.
Feels like the Titanic--all the upscale clientele turned upside down, clutching their furst.
Love this pic. MJ is scarier here than in real life. Awesome, just awesome.
The expression on her face is terrifying .....the background of the photo is also very scary because you don't know what it is.
